DSM Kids Club Events

Saturday, May 27

The Circus 1903 Kids Club program, the last of the 2016/17 season, will take place on Saturday, May 27th.  Activities organized in partnership with Big Thought will begin at 11:30am in the West Lobby of the Music Hall and will include:

  • An artist from Cara Mia Theatre Co. and assistant will demonstrate the workings of large puppets and will work with younger children on making crazy hats.  Participants can also make their own elephant puppet like the one featured in the show.
  • Slappys and Monday, a clown troupe, will showcase the art of juggling with items such as feathers and scarves.
  • In addition, Mario Garcia, a visual artist, will lead and guide the creation of steam punk ringmaster hats with older students and their families.

Discounted boxed lunches will be available while supplies last for $5 each.

DSM Kids Club programs are free to DSM subscribers and patrons and supported by gifts and donations made by DSM CenterStage members, as well as individuals, businesses, and foundations in the Dallas community.

NOTE: *You don’t need a ticket to the show to participate in the event. We do highly suggest that you purchase your tickets to the respective show for the matinee performance on the date of the event. These shows are family-friendly and are a great opportunity for your child or children to enjoy a true Broadway musical.

We at the DSM KIDS CLUB would love to hear from you!
